Cyd Fraser – Project Manager
Working at ProStar from 2014 until 2024, Cyd lead the ProStar Canmore branch. Her project management skills have been honed over 28 years in the construction industry. Cyd has expertise as a red seal carpenter, site superintendent, NSCO safety officer, architectural review, environmental coordination, administration of construction teams, scheduling, planning, design, estimating, budgeting, and event management. With an eye for detail, she prides herself on being an effective team leader who puts the right people in the right place and empowers them to get the job done right.
Cyd enjoys volunteering for many organizations in and around the Canmore area and speaks French and Spanish.
From 2022-2024 she had the opportunity to restore the Historic Heritage Settler Cabins. Leading an intricate and fulfilling restoration in a remote location, managing all phases from conceptual design through completion. Coordination includes complex logistics, subcontractor involvement, and material procurement to overcome challenges unique to remote project sites.
We ensure seamless scheduling and client communication, resulting in timely completion with no delays. It is always exciting to deliver a high level of precision and detail, including curated furniture placement and refined interior finishes. Preserving the cabin’s historical integrity and aesthetic while improving the efficiency of usage along with all the outbuildings.
