Renovating a home can be a very intimidating and expensive process. Depending on the scope of your project, you can create a new home, saving just the bones and structures of the old one, or you can do minor adjustments to fresh your home.

Cyd sees a home as a living body, where the mechanical parts, the wires, the living area, and the outside would correspond to the breathing system, the vessels, the heart, and the skin. How can you manage that in a home? Life changes, families grow and reduce when kids leave the nest. How to create a home as a body that can adapt to anything?

‘I have always believed that we must place high importance where we choose to rejuvenate: our homes… In fact, the less time we spend there, the more important it is, as we need to recharge in a short time’, explains Cyd.

Her expertise goes beyond the coordination of all trades and all aspects of the construction industry, having built many homes for herself and her family and carrying many renovations on her résumé.

In 2023, Cyd had the privilege to direct the transformation of a custom home into a fully accessible residence, addressing aspects of design and construction to meet the client’s needs. What a project!

We managed reconfigurations involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and structural improvements. Leading the team of subcontractors, schedules, and logistics is crucial to ensure seamless integration of accessibility features.
